In the initial heady days when a classical Christian school is starting up, the daunting work is largely done by a committed handful of people, fueled by coffee, adrenaline, and the Holy Spirit. Everybody knows everybody, and everybody is all in. The whole endeavor is audacious, and yet, somehow, it works. By “working,” I mean that the school survives its first year. Crazy people started it, and a handful of adventurous people sent their kids to it.
